Please pay attention to some important details so we can give you the best SALSA FESTIVAL experience!!!...

The Directors of each team is responsible for contacting the SUMMER SALSA FESTIVAL (by phone 514.253.2673 or by email info@summer-salsafestival.com) for any information. All inquiries must be made by your Team Director and not the members of your team unless there is an emergency.

If you wish to perform at the SUMMER SALSA FESTIVAL, you must send an audition DVD by May 31st, 2010. If your team is selected, then, you must register and include your payment by May 31st, 2010. If we have not received your teams complete registration and payment by this date, we will assume that your team has decided not to perform.

ALL TEAMS SELECTED need to be available to perform on one of the following days: Thursday August 12th, Friday August 13th, Saturday August 14th or Sunday August 15th, 2010.

To all Team Directors: PLEASE RESPECT the time limits for your performance. The limit for groups: 5 mins. For a couple: 3 mins.

MUSIC (CD)

Bring at least two (2) CD’s with only the music of your performance on each CD. Please identify your CD by writing your Team’s Name. Keep in mind that some equipment do not read all CD brands. Bring these CD’s to your scheduled tech rehearsal. The schedule and place for your tech is to be determined. PLEASE be on time! Thank you.

TECH REHEARSAL

It is mandatory for you and your team to rehearse your performance on stage. All team members must be present. If you do not show up for your tech, you will not perform.

COSTUMES

This is a Festival for all ages. Please keep in mind that your costume, music and performance must be appropriate. Please no JEANS.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

All Hotel rooms needed for you and your team must be booked directly through the organizers of the Summer Salsa Festival at 514-253-2673. Ask for your special rate of $119.00 + tax per/night. DANCERS’ PASS

Dance teams selected and ONLY their dancers performing at the SSF 2010 are entitled to a dancers’ pass for only $100.00. This pass allows you to attend to the four (5) evenings of the Festival and the Saturday and Sunday workshops during the day. The deadline to pay for your dancers’ pass is May 31st, 2010. Please send a headshot of each performer along with your payment. Team members not performing are not entitled to this SPECIAL RATE.
