Billy and Katie are both former World Hustle Champions and World Cabaret Champions; they have competed and performed at some of the largest and most prestigious events in the World. Billy and Katie are considered among the most highly accomplished and versatile dancers in the world. They have been honored with many lifetime achievement awards in the dance world, and are head judges at the World Salsa Championships ESPN.



Yamulee Dance Company

Osmar Perrones, director of Yamulee Dance Company began his dancing career in 1994 under the guidance of Wilton Beltre. He has been a member of The Descarga Latina Dance Company, The Fuerza Latina Dance Company, Combinacion Magica, and was senior instructor/choreographer of Santo Rico Dance Company. Osmar participated in the off-broadway show Latin Madness. Currently, he is the director and founder of Yamulee Dance Company and supervises the student, children and professional teams.

The group is born from a desire to form a chemistry in which the salsa roots were projected in the dance and evolved in sensual cadentious moves. Thankful of being members of the dance company "Danzarines de Papa Tambor" in Puerto Rico, this young people decide to make their dreams come true and created the YOUNG BLOOD. They in correlation with Papa Tambor, have represented Puerto Rico in European countries (Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and England), Central America (Mexico and Panama), South America (Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador) and several cities of the USA (L.A., New York, Miami and Denver).



Albert Torres

Albert Torres is a legendary producer, promoter, and manager in the salsa world. Albert travels the world 49 weeks a year with his international salsa congresses, and is committed to "creating unity through salsa." He holds congresses all over North America, Asia, and Europe, and is especially proud to have produced events in Israel as well as on the Great Wall of China. In 2005 Albert founded the ESPN World Salsa Championships, which boasts an international audience of 200 million. Albert has choreographed and danced in such movies as Mambo Kings and Dance with Me, and is making a true impact by educating the world on the history and legacy of Latin music and dance.

Marie-Josée Strazzero

Marie Josee Strazzero, originally Italian but born in Montreal, Canada, began dancing at 4 years old. She embraced the art of dance and has a multidisciplinary background in classical ballet, ballet jazz, contemporary dance, tap dance and latin dance.

At the early age of 10, Marie Josee begins dancing professionally. She obtains a bursary to study dance at Louise Lapierre and at L’Ecole Superieure of “Les Grands Ballets Canadiens” in Montreal and also went to study at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

Edwin Rivera

Edwin Rivera is one of the youngest salsa superstars on the world’s Salsa scene, and has traveled to every single continent in the world for his performing, teaching and unique choreography skills. Edwin of Puerto Rican origin, was born & raised in the Bronx, New York. Now residing in Los Angeles, Edwin is one of the most popular dance-personalities in the world, especially in South America after participating in the local version of the popular television show Let’s dance, Rojo Fama Contrafama. He starred as Roberto Roena/Cheetah Solo Dancer in the movie El Cantante with Salsa superstar Marc Anthony as well as Jennifer Lopez. Edwin was honoured at the 2008 Los Angeles International Salsa Congress for his contributions to the Salsa Community around the world. He is also currently working on two feature films and just finished producing his first instrumental album named Soul Of A Dancer.

Since its creation in 2007, RAZA has been entertaining their fans with their unique way of mixing both acting and a variety of genres into their salsa routine. Directed by Edwin Nieves, RAZA has been part of many prestigious events around the world, visiting places such as Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Florida, Toronto, Panama, Mexico and hometown Puerto Rico. This past March they made the opening show to the Salsa National Day Concert in San Juan, PR. Recently, they opened their own studio, naming it “Escenario Latino”.
